Schools Food Heritage Project

In Association with Galway Co. Council and as part of the GastronomicFood heritage project 2018 in Galway, Killererin Heritage Society  approached the three National Schools in our catchment area.
The three schools in our catchment area are Cahergal NS., Barnaderg NS and Brierfield NS which straddles the border between our neighbouring parish of Abbeyknockmoy and Killererin.
We were delighted with the response from all three schools and are delighted to feature their work here.  Their contributions will also be featured on the Galway Co. Council Heritage website also.
We thank the Principals and staff of all three schools and most of all the children who responded to our call.
