Mary Says to Elizabeth

Christmas '97 in Killererin - Page 6

Rita Curley

My world has spun

Into my middle

Worming, weaving, slow

As the sea which breathes

Against the shore

It will grow,

I fear,

Be no longer encapsulate in me,

It will bloat me,

Then shed me, shatter me.

My world is worn now

In the centre

Red and dark and deep

And full of seas.
