Celebration of the year

Christmas is the biggest celebration of the year when people come together to celebrate ‘Jesus’ birthday.

When I think of Christmas, I think of snow; how my brother, my sister and I would build a massive snowman and have a snowball fight.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve is very special to me. I’m usually too excited to sleep, but eventually I drift off. I wake up in the middle of the night, rush downstairs and tear open my presents. My mother usually gets up and takes photographs of us. We spend some time playing with our presents and seeing what each other got.

Christmas Day

In the morning, we go to Mass. After Mass, we say a prayer at the crib because that is what Christmas is all about – the birth of Jesus. We have our Christmas dinner with our cousins. In the evening, we all go and visit my granny. All my aunts, uncles and cousins are there. Christmas is my favourite time of the year.
