Mrs. W. Delaney, Barnaderg
The death has taken place of Mrs. Winifred Delaney, Imanebeg, Barnaderg, Co. Galway, at an advanced age. Mrs. Delaney was a fine type of Irish woman, and was a fluent speaker of the mother tongue.
Solemn Requiem Mass was celebrated in Killererin Parish Church by Very Rev. Father Burke, P.P.; Rev. Fr. Moran C.C. deacon; and Rev. Fr. O’Connor C.C. sub-deacon. Very Rev. Fr. O’Reilly, P.P. Duniry, and Rev. Fr. Scahill, C.C. Glenamaddy, were chanters. Other clergy present were Rev. Fr. Walsh, C.C. and two Moyne priests.

Chief mourners were: Mrs. Mary Gilmore, Mrs. A. Cullinane, Mrs. K. Mannion, Margaret and Delia (daughters); Michael Gilmore, Michael Cullinane and Patrick Mannion (sons-in-law); the Boyle family, Moylough; the Boyle family, Moyloughbeg; the Boyle family Derrynagran; the Boyle family, Tygreenan; the Boyle family, Mullaghmore; the Boyle family, Scregg; the Boyle family, Lacht; Tony Boyle, Tuam; the Fahy family, Waterloo; the Fahy family, Scregg; the Hession family, Acres; Mrs. Shaughessy, Curraghmore; Mrs. Egan, Dunmore (cousins).
The funeral to the family burial ground was large and representative.
