Today, Killererin is a dynamic communiity and this is in no small measure due to its people. In the past,this was true also and although it was mainly a farming community, it also had a thriving business community supporting its people in their day to day living and social life.

Emigration was also a necessary feature of life when there was not enough to sustain a living here and we went to all corners of the world.

Although GAA was the sport of choice/necessity for most people, our people had great success in other areas too, even on the world stage.

Here we want to celebrate and record for posterity the lives of those people and their descendants.

This is an opportunity for you our parishioners and neighbours and our global diaspora to make your contribution. We welcome old photos, articles, or any memories you would like to share which can be uploaded to this site.
