200g plain flour
½ teaspoon of salt
2 teaspoons of salt
2 teaspoons of baking powder
1 large egg
200g caster sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla essence or extract
Heat your oven to 200 degrees centigrade/400 degrees Fahrenheit/Gas Mark 6. Keep in an airtight container for up to five days.
This makes a lot of biscuits but you don’t need to use them all up in one go.
